Nokia 2 V Tella is a compact phone with a dimension of 150.6 x 71.6 x 9.1mm. This is especially when compared with most smartphones these days. It also has an average weight of 180g. Therefore, in our opinion, Nokia 2 V Tella is very easy to carry.

Its design is nothing flashy. In fact, some of you would call it outdated and we’re going to agree. Nokia 2 V Tella features a square display with a bottom chin that’s too thick to our liking. There’s no notch adoption on the top. The camera and the speaker lie on the ample space above the display. There’s even a room to put a small Nokia logo there.

It has features like Focus mode to minimize distraction. There is a feature called Family Link to help monitor the digital consumption of your children. A dedicated button for Google Assistant is available to increase ease of use. You can throw voice commands for checking the weather, setting a reminder, and many more tasks.

Nokia 2 V Tella doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor. You can spot the missing feature with a glance at the back cover. There’s no reader available. Instead, this phone relies on other type of security features, like the old PIN/password and 2D Face Unlock. These days, it seems unthinkable to not have a fingerprint reader for some people. For us, this is a significant drawback.

Being a budget phone, we’re not surprised by the lack of advanced charging technology. There’s no fast charging available, let alone wireless charging. Regardless, it doesn’t take long for the phone to charge through the USB Type-C port. Just don’t expect a turbo charging speed here.

Is the Nokia 2 V Tella a good phone?

Without all the features above in mind, it’s easy to conclude this Nokia 2 V Tella review. In our opinion, this phone is for entry-level customers. It’s evident when many areas of the phone are kept simple. From the compact screen, low camera, but a decent battery life, this device focuses on the essentials.

You can get this phone at $50 at Walmart. It seems like a reasonable price to us. Even better, Verizon offers this phone for free for customers who are qualified. You might want to try your luck getting it from Verizon for free. In this case, Nokia 2 V Tella sounds like a really good deal.
