Design
T-Mobile REVVL 4 Plus is understandably a long phone. Having a dimension of 165.4 x 75.2 x 8.1mm, this handheld tries to cram up a lot of things while being as slim as possible. It also manages to stay lightweight at 180g.
Despite its “Plus” status, T-Mobile REVVL 4 Plus still uses plastic as its body material. Nonetheless, the whole design still looks sturdy and elegant. The manufacturer dubs the color as “steel gray.” It makes the phone appear metallic despite not using any metal.
T-Mobile REVVL 4 Plus is very comfortable to hold, despite it’s bigger than many other phones. The back cover is a bit slippery so a case might be a good idea. In this area, you can also spot the camera and the fingerprint reader. The reader lies a bit too high. Sometimes it can be hard to reach when we try to unlock the phone.
The front part adopts an edge-to-edge approach which means fewer bezels and more screen. This phone uses a well-disguised notch to place the front-facing camera. It’s an overall nice and modern design many buyers would love.

Display
The display of T-Mobile REVVL 4 Plus impressed us with its 6.5-inch size. The LCD screen boasts an 82.56 % screen-to-body ratio. Therefore, bezels are greatly reduced. Still, the screen leaves enough beveled corners so users still feel comfortable holding the phone. The notch also doesn’t feel distracting.
This display size allows for an amazing viewing experience. The screen’s refresh rate is decent and thus, the animation of icons feels smooth and lag-less. T-Mobile REVVL 4 Plus also equips the display with an Ambient light sensor so it can adjust brightness automatically.
However, we were slightly disappointed when finding out the screen resolution. At 1600 x 720 pixels, an HD+ screen is not what you’d call a pro, flagship-level phone. Although colors are mostly accurate, the display lacks sharpness.
At this price point, we’d like to see a Full HD screen at the minimum. In this T-Mobile REVVL 4 Plus review, we dare to say that it’s one of the less-than-perfect spec this phone has. Moreover, the display doesn’t have an extra coating to protect it from damages. For a gigantic screen, protection is a must. Buyers will need to purchase tempered glass if they want their phones to be more durable.
Camera
Although the camera is not the main selling point of this phone, you will still get an amazing setup consisting of a 16MP + 5MP dual-camera and a 16MP front camera. An LED flash accompanies the dual-camera on the back, giving a boost when you need to take photos in the dark.
The 16MP main camera is the best lens among the three, even though the front camera also boasts the same megapixels. It has a small aperture size. This size means that the lens can capture more light and produce brighter photos. The main camera also has autofocus.
The quality of the pictures is great. We won’t say that it’s similar to a flagship level, but it’s getting there. The autofocus works quickly when shooting a video. As for the video quality itself, you can record a 4K video with this camera. The maximum resolution is 3840×2160 (4K UHD).
The secondary camera acts as a depth camera. It helps to add more layers and details to the photo. You can also play around with the depth effect to create bokeh pictures. For a photography enthusiast, the rear camera combo gives more possibilities to capture interesting pictures.

With this capacity, you can ditch an external memory and it would be enough. 64GB allows you to install dozens of apps without afraid of running out of space too soon. Despite some of it being reserved for the operating system, there’s still plenty of space left for users.
However, for storing large multimedia files, you will need more than 64GB. People who often take photos will be better equipped if they install an SD card. External storage options on this phone also come with a generous capacity. You can install up to 256GB SD card into the available slot.
Performance
T-Mobile REVVL 4 Plus prides itself on providing not just any CPU. The phone runs on a 1.8GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, which promises smooth navigation and task processing. Together with the 4GB RAM, this system creates a powerful mid-range smartphone performance.
The CPU specs make it possible for consumers to do more than just day-to-day tasks. For example, you can open document processing apps while also opening the browser or doing a video call. No problem occurred when opening many apps, thanks to the big RAM. Multitasking between apps can be seamlessly done with minimal delay.
If you feel like treating yourself to some mobile games, no need to hesitate when installing them. The Snapdragon CPU comes with a decent integrated GPU called Adreno 610. Feel free to set the game to a medium to high setting. Although it’s advisable to avoid the latter for faster frame rates.
To set a lock method, users have two options on this phone. Pick between the fingerprint reader and the face unlock. Both are responsive and can unlock the phone in milliseconds.
