Design
The T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G emphasizes modern and today’s smartphone trends. It has a sleek design and comes rectangular with rounded edges. The phone’s dimensions are 167 x 76 x 8.6mm, and the phone’s weight is 194g. That’s the bare minimum in smartphones, though.
At first glance, the front’s T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G area looks like most smartphones. Widescreen, thin bezels surrounded, and the primary button on the display screens. The front camera is in a punch hole design at the top center.
Moving on to the back, you will directly face into the triple rear cameras. The camera placement reminds us of the famous smartphone brand. It’s a refreshment to see this camera placement, but somehow we feel the stiffness of it. The blue color also freshens up the look.

Display
The screen contents will be shown on the 6.5-inch of T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G display. Honestly, the screen size is 0.3-inch lower than the previous smartphones. But it’s a widescreen, especially with the 20:9 screen ratios users can experience the phone’s content more up close and personal. Not only that but navigating the device will also be enjoyable.
With the 1600 x 720 resolutions, users can zoom in and out of the phone’s content without making it pixelated or blurry. Thanks to this resolution, you can enjoy an HD+ display screen which means the color becomes richer and more accurate.
However, compared with the T-Mobile REVVL V+ 5G, this phone’s resolution is far from the best.
Camera
Like its predecessors, the T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G has triple rear cameras. The difference is in the camera’s megapixels and the camera’s placements. Rear cameras consist of a 13MP main camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth camera. If you have read the phone’s older versions, this camera setup is below the old one.
The rear cameras and the front camera are also down below the older versions. They have a 16MP front camera. Meanwhile, this phone only has a 5MP front camera. However, it’s still good for taking selfies or video-calling.
Besides taking pictures, this device can also be used for recording a 2K Quad HD video. For the video resolutions, definitely, it’s an upgrade over the older T-Mobile REVVL versions.

Storage
The phone’s storage capacity is the same as the old one. The T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G has 64GB as its internal storage. Nonetheless, we noticed the actual size that we got is below the written capacity. We only get 54GB of accessible memory in total. Well, it’s a huge gap, but it’s still suitable for this device.
Fortunately, users can manage to expand the phone’s storage. One way is by inserting a MicroSD card into the phone’s slot. T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G accommodates up to 2TB of external storage, which is surprisingly huge for an entry-level smartphone. With this capacity, you can save more apps and files as much as you want.
Performance
Under the hood, the T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G operates the system using a MediaTek Dimensity 700 as the phone’s processor. This chipset doesn’t have an outstanding or powerful performance. But to be frank, we can’t expect something more than this for an entry-level smartphone.
A 4GB RAM makes a great duet with the chipset. It’s enough to run the device without having some serious issues. This RAM capacity is decent for users to experience basic activities such as playing games, playing videos, browsing social media, etc.
With this RAM, we also find it very smooth and easy to multitask. It doesn’t show any lags or delays when opening two or more apps back and forth.
The T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G uses Android 12 as its brain to operate the system. This operating system is also an upgrade compared to the older T-Mobile REVVL versions. It’s absolutely an added point.
Android 12 offers some remarkable improvements in many aspects. This OS claims it’s the most personal version of all predecessors. You can see it from the dynamic color capabilities feature that can transform the users’ experience based on the chosen wallpaper. The user interface becomes more responsive and smoother.
Other than that, Android 12 also featured a communication widget and extra accessibility features to be comfortable for everyone. The phone’s privacy is also becoming more powerful and easy to control.
As for the security sensors, the T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G uses a fingerprint reader to unlock the device. Like the older version, we didn’t find face recognition on this device. Some basic sensors are available such as the proximity, accelerometer, gyro compass, etc. All of them have their own functions.
Connectivity
Like the predecessor, the T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G already uses the latest network technology, a 5G connectivity to connect with the world. Thanks to this connectivity, users can experience a faster and more stable internet connection. Voice call quality will also become clearer than the 4G VoLTE.
However, if you don’t have a mobile data connection, the T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G allows you to connect with the Wi-Fi 5.1 versions. A mobile hotspot feature is also available if you want to share the data connection with up to 10 devices.
Other connectivity available on this phone is Bluetooth and USB Type-C. These two have different purposes. With Bluetooth, you can share files to other devices easily with no wire required and connect your device with other Bluetooth devices. Meanwhile, USB Type-C transfers files with a computer through a wire.
Battery
The T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G has a 4,500mAh battery capacity to power up the device. If you’ve noticed, this battery size is a downgrade from the T-Mobile REVVL V+ 5G while it has a 5,000mAh capacity. As the latest device, we saw it as a drawback specification.
However, with this capacity, the manufacturer claims it can last up to 30 hours max of talk time and 624 hours or 24 days in standby time. To maintain this battery life cycle, make sure to use the device properly and wisely.
This phone uses a non-removable battery type which has a low chance the battery will get damaged. Also, they use a fast charging 18W to shorten the charging time.
Is the T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G a good phone?
The T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G is actually a good phone. But compared with its older version, we found some compromises on this phone. After all of these explanations on this T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G review, is it a good choice?
The T-Mobile REVVL 6 5G can be bought at a $170 price. You can even get it for free if you subscribe to the T-Mobile network for 24 months. But, this phone is no better than the T-Mobile REVVL V+ 5G. Some downgraded features include the battery, camera resolutions, and display screen.
