Let’s start the review with the most noticeable aspect, shall we? The moment we got the Bold N2, it really caught our attention. Their modernity yet simplicity make it look super clean and neat. Not to mention their phone’s dimensions and weight, which is very comfortable and doesn’t feel bulky at all.

The front appearance seems sophisticated with its full-curved glass display. Users can experience high-quality cinematic content views with this screen. Not only that, but their front-camera placement also gives a touch of uniqueness. It comes with a dual camera and is in a floating style.

The rich teal textured leather finish leaves an elegant vibe on the other side. It is also surrounded by a soft blue aluminum metal housing to make it more sleek and modern. There, you will also see the quad camera and LED flash in unique formations.

Display

The Bold N2 smartphone has a top-notch display quality. It comes with a 6.6-inch display screen and a 19:5:9 screen ratio. All combos with no bezels and curved displays offer users a full content experience. Your fingers can also walk freely to navigate through the screens.

The resolutions come up with 1080 x 2340 pixels. Fair enough for a curved smartphone to not get pixelated–even when you’re zooming in the contents until a tiny bit. It won’t tire our eyes or squint when we see long texts.

Surprisingly, the Bold N2 smartphone is already equipped with AMOLED screen quality. As you know, AMOLED is the finest quality for a smartphone. With this, you can expect a clear and vivid color in your phone’s contents, whether in pictures or videos. The brightness is also so fine, especially in direct sunlight.

Camera

Bold N2 Camera

A quad camera on the Bold N2 smartphone is responsible for taking a beautiful picture or shooting a 2K video. The 64MP in its main camera can take high-quality pictures. It has features like the Omnivision OV64B sensor, AI Scene Recognition, MFNR Night Mode, and RAW support.

On the other hand, the 5MP wide camera can process a panoramic 115°. There is also a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP extra-depth camera to get a zoom-in picture with a blurred effect on the background.

The most highlighted point is on the front camera. It is not only equipped with one camera but two. Yes, it is a dual with 16MP and 2MP camera. It would be perfect for taking a well-detailed picture with a soft background.

Storage

The Bold N2 smartphone provides 256GB internal storage for users storing their personal data. It’s a generous space for a high-maintenance smartphone. Even though the available spaces will run out to a certain amount, with this capacity, you can still save more photos, messages, and contacts and even download some apps.

The minus part is you can’t extend the memory storage with the Bold N2. This phone won’t allow you to put an external card into the phone. So, 256GB is the only capacity you are served. No more. No else. If you’re a heavy user, this circumstance will burden you.

Performance

Bold N2 Side View

Talk about the Bold N2 smartphone’s processor. This phone is powered up with a 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 810. This processor is specifically designed for 5G smartphones, so it will have proper stability without sacrificing power efficiency.

A 2.4GHz clock rate speed can deliver fast-processing access to all apps, including high-consumed apps. Opening the apps will go smoothly. We are quite impressed with this overall performance.

Those all specifications are combined with 8GB RAM. RAM, or Random Access Memory, is responsible for storing all temporary data of the device’s usage history. Comes with 8GB RAM means the Bold N2 smartphone could work well in multitasking.

Users can multitask and expect to operate high-intensity apps such as playing 3D graphic games and browsing e-commerce. It doesn’t show any glances, delays, or glitches at all. Perfect for you who massively use the device for work-related tasks.

The bold N2 smartphone is an Android smartphone. It uses Android 11 to be its operating system. We are disappointed because, as a 2022 smartphone with many advanced features, we expect the latest Android 12 as their choice.

With Android 11, you might not find some improvement features available only on Android 12. However, their remarkable feature can still be dependable for users’ activity. Those features include family links, smart replies, better locations, and privacy control.

For the sensor features, the Bold N2 smartphone is equipped with two advanced security sensors; the in-display fingerprint reader and A.I Face ID. These two take the security sensors to the next level. Different from most other smartphones nowadays.

Connectivity

The Bold N2 smartphone is supported with 5G connectivity as its main network. With this connectivity, users can experience the most stable and fastest internet. But, if you prefer to use a 4G LTE or 3G network, this phone still provides these connectivities.

More than that, users can experience Wi-Fi technology. Turning the device into a mobile hotspot is also possible with the Bold N2 smartphone. For sharing files wirelessly and other devices, this phone relies on Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The USB Type-C is also a sharing tool to connect with a computer.

Battery

Another topic to discuss is the Bold N2 smartphone’s battery. It has a 4,200mAh battery capacity to power up the phone all day. But honestly, we think the battery size is not comparable with the other mid-range smartphones. At the lowest, they served around 5,000mAh as a bare minimum capacity.

However, the Bold N2 smartphone offers a quick charging feature for a stress-free experience. Thanks to the 30W Max Quick Charge, you can expect the battery to fully charge in only one hour from zero points. Very convenient for a ‘go-to’ and rush person.

Verdict

After we’ve reviewed the Bold N2 smartphone, we will go to the verdict section. As a mid-range smartphone with a $250 cost, the Bold N2 is a worthy modern smartphone. The major selling points are their sleek and elegant design with a dual-front camera at the top. Their 5G connectivity is also worth consideration.

Besides, with this Bold N2 review, we also found some flaws. Talk about their Android 11 OS and the battery capacity that is not too impressive for us.

Bold N2 Pros:

  • Modern design
  • Dual-front camera
  • 5G connectivity

Bold N2 Cons:

  • Android 11
  • Low battery capacity
