Design

NUU B10

The NUU B10 smartphone adopts a modern design with a sleek and seamless appearance. This phone is medium-sized, with 165.5mm in height and 76mm in width of its dimensions. The thickness, it’s 9.2mm. Those are a perfect size for holding in daily manners.

At first impression, we love how this phone has a futuristic look. The front area is very clean and optimizes the screen room really well. The phone’s screen is wide, with minimal bezels around it.

The uniqueness can be seen in the front camera, which comes in a pinhole but is placed at the top right area. It may be uncomfortable for some people.

Meanwhile, in the back area, you will instantly be caught by the camera’s look. It consists of a triple camera, but for its placement, it is robotic for us. The two cameras come in a rectangular frame with two LED flashes–it’s rare, though. And then, the other camera is placed separately in its own frame.

Display

The NUU B10 smartphones aim for bigger and better viewing with a 6.5-inch display screen. The display has a nice curve; although it doesn’t fully cover all the edges, we can ignore those thin bezels and still have a great viewing angle.

The NUU B10 screen has narrow bezels, but it’s not distracting at all for us. It’s a satisfying size for a viewing experience. The rounded corners are smooth and treat us well in the eye.

The screen quality is good. It has a 720 x 1600-pixel resolution, which means it’s an HD+ quality. The quality matches the price, and you will get crisp details in the phone’s icons and images. This phone also works outdoors really well; it has a balanced brightness.

Camera

The NUU B10 smartphone tries to impress its target with a unique triple camera setup. The main lens is a 48MP camera powerful enough to capture an on-point and smooth picture.

The other lenses are an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera for taking a breathtaking landscape picture and a 2MP depth camera for taking a zoom camera with a bokeh effect behind it.

The rear camera is equipped with an AI-powered beauty mode to enhance the camera’s outputs. There are dual LED flashes along it to add more uniqueness to this camera.

The pinhole camera in the front area consists of an 8MP selfie camera. It’s a bare minimum quality you will often see in most smartphones nowadays. And it proves it can deliver a nice selfie and video-chat quality.

Storage

The NUU B10 smartphone is equipped with a 64GB ROM. Even though it looks decent, this capacity will be decreased to a certain point because it’s reserved for pre-loaded apps and system files.

However, you can increase the phone’s capacity by inserting a MicroSD card into the dedicated slot. That way, you will get more space and put as much as your favorite apps and files into the phone. The maximum capacity is up to 512GB.

Performance

The NUU B10 smartphone is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P90 chipset with 4GB RAM (Random Access Memory). These all run on a 2GHz speed, making this phone have a solid performance.

As a result of these combinations, the NUU B10 leaves us with a nice impression. Compared with other entry-level smartphones, this phone has a decent performance. It’s a reliable smartphone for day-to-day tasks.

The MediaTek Helio P90 is not typically found in an entry-level smartphone. However, this processor has minor issues regarding the phone’s jitters and lags. It doesn’t interfere with us when we play around with the device.

The 4GB RAM is versatile for this NUU B10 smartphone. It holds up well in most situations; not to mention, while we’re multitasking, this phone is running smoothly, and we’re not encountering any significant problems.

This condition goes the same when we launch huge apps and move around the screen. For example, when we use the phone to play games and watch movies, this phone still has stable performance.

Android 11 is the NUU B10’s choice for its operating system. We were kinda disappointed by their choice because it’s too outdated for today’s smartphone—even though you can still get some Android updates.

Don’t get me wrong, Android 11 is still reliable for everyday tasks. It has a fluid user interface and supports us with advanced privacy and security management. Managing the phone’s notifications also becomes easier. Moreover, this version supports better connectivity. Let you connect with other devices and media such as phones, tablets, and cars.

Fingerprint reader and face unlock become the advanced security features on the NUU B10 smartphone. It’s mounted on the side of the phone to give users easy access when they want to unlock the device immediately.

Connectivity

The NUU B10 smartphone supports a wide range of networks, from 2G to 3G, and last but not least, 4G LTE. Nevertheless, 4G LTE still becomes the most reliable connectivity, even today, because it’s still accessible worldwide.

For other network connectivity, users of the NUU B10 can also rely on Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is not always available in some places. However, if there is one, you can use Wi-Fi connectivity to save your battery and mobile data.

Beside those network connectivity, this phone is embedded with other useful connectivity such as Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and GPS. As you know, Bluetooth is often used for sharing files or connecting with other devices. The USB Type-C also has a similar function.

Battery

Stay powered throughout the day with a 4,000mAh battery capacity on this NUU B10 smartphone. Nowadays, it’s such a bare minimum size for every on-budget smartphone. This phone will provide you long hours for talk-time and browsing. Meanwhile, if the device is on standby, it could last for weeks.

The battery comes in a non-removable one which is the best type. This battery type has better durability and can last longer than the previous type. Charging in this battery is also typically faster than predecessors, so getting your phone ready won’t take long hours.

Verdict

The NUU B10 is a great phone with all its important features for everyday use. The triple camera, a big display, and their security features are the most interesting points of this phone. On the other hand, the phone’s design also has a nice presentation as a modern gadget.

It’s all packaged for only $140. For us, it’s quite affordable with all those specs you will get on this phone. We concluded on this NUU B10 review this smartphone would be a great choice for you who want a substitute for your old one.
