ATT Motivate Max Review

The AT&T Motivate Max smartphone was released in November 2022. This smartphone is an entry-level smartphone which is categorized as an affordable phone since it’s cost below $100. This device is not a spotlight stealer because its look is moderate.

Despite its average appearance and low prices, the AT&T Motivate Max still deserves attention. For instance, the triple rear camera and a 6.8-inch display screen are a great duo.

Nonetheless, there are also some drawbacks that we notice on the AT&T Motivate Max smartphone. And as for today, we will break down all of the features and specifications worth mentioning, whether they’re good or not.

Design

AT&T Motivate Max

The AT&T Motivate Max’s design represents the look of most of today’s smartphones. Nothing fancy, yet still, its huge appearance is the top selling point for an entry-level smartphone. It comes in a dimension of 174 x 78 x 8.9mm. It weighs 193g which is quite heavy to hold around.

The smartphone’s front side contributes a huge 6.8-inch display screen with thin bezels for users to experience a wide view of content. Thanks to its bezels which don’t take up much space, this phone is comfortable to use daily. The tear-drop camera also doesn’t annoy us at all.

The back side of the AT&T Motivate Max doesn’t stand out. We have these celestial blue colors – quite unique and cool. For back layout, it’s very standard, with triple rear camera placement in a stiff rectangular design and a fingerprint reader at the center of the phone.

Display

ATT Motivate Max Display

Let’s talk about the AT&T Motivate Max major green flag; the display screen. This phone has an above-the-size average for an entry-level smartphone, a 6.8-inch screen. This is what we call a cinema-sized smartphone because, trust us, you will be very satisfied with the screen if you watch any movie from your phone.

Great screen size comes with high-quality screen resolutions. This AT&T Motivate Max smartphone’s screen has a 720 x 1640 pixel resolution to show the phone’s content brightly and accurately.

The 720 x 1640 pixel resolution is HD+ quality which—if you know, delivers the best view with minimum pixelated content, especially when zooming in on an image or icon. The brightness is also balanced, not too bright or too dark.

Camera

ATT Motivate Max Camera

The AT&T Motivate Max smartphone follows where the market flows by installing a triple rear camera on its back. For an affordable phone, it also can be one of your considerations while looking for a new gadget with modern features.

The triple rear camera consists of a 13MP main camera with a night and pro mode, 5MP as their wide camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Those three are perfect symphonies to capture your best moment, whether in image or video format.

Nowadays, people can’t separate themselves from taking a selfie, don’t you agree? The AT&T Motivate Max smartphone lets you enjoy taking your best ‘you’ by providing an 8MP selfie camera. Not only for gallery matters but your front camera can also be used for video calling with your family and colleagues.

Storage

We’re talking about the phone’s aspect that can store users’ personal files. It’s internal storage. The AT&T Motivate Max has 32GB of this storage, and it’s fairly enough for users with no heavy daily activities.

Nevertheless, this smartphone has another option if you’re such a heavy user and need more space for your routines. An external card like a MicroSD can make your phone’s room spacious. To do this, you need to spend money to buy your own card and install it into the AT&T Motivate Max smartphone.

Performance

ATT Motivate Max Side View

The AT&T Motivate Max smartphone has a “smart brain” that works under a MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762CA processor. This is a famous chipset for fair speed in an entry-level smartphone. It is all thanks to an Octa-core 2GHz rate speed.

The chipset can work favorably in a big-sized phone without being such a burden. It is also responsible for making the device’s battery still run efficiently.

The AT&T Motivate Max has 3GB RAM to save the cache’s temporary files. This spec is reasonable for an affordable smartphone and makes great work. This RAM provides us multitasking with no sign of hiccups and lags while doing that.

Launching lightweight apps is smooth. However, it is all different when we’re launching some big-sized apps, it takes a split second, but overall, there are no significant issues. Surely, the AT&T Motivate Max smartphone still delivers optimal and reliable performance.

Software-wise, the AT&T Motivate Max has a unique operating system. It’s Android 12; not the latest, but of course, still applicable for today’s people’s needs. Android 12 is more than enough to provide us with some recent updates.

Our favorite feature from the Android 12 version is their signature dynamic capabilities transformation. This feature allows us to enjoy a more personalized user experience and make the AT&T Motivate Max become more ‘us.’ Besides that, its privacy and security system is also top-notch, safe, and sound for its users.

Still following what we discussed above, privacy and security. The AT&T Motivate Max smartphone is also equipped with two safer security systems today. The fingerprint reader and face recognition unlock your device safely and conveniently.

Connectivity

The AT&T Motivate Max is still a 4G LTE-based smartphone. We don’t expect something extra like 5G connectivity as a cheap phone. Above all, 4G LTE is still enough to provide better, faster, and more stable network connections. If the data connection becomes worse, Wi-Fi comes to the rescue.

Apart from the network connectivity, the AT&T Motivate Max is also equipped with Bluetooth and NFC. Bluetooth 5.0 can handle the files transferred with a nice speed. Moreover, users can connect easily with other Bluetooth devices like headsets and Bluetooth speakers.

Lastly, the NFC. NFC stands for Near-Field Communications. This feature is often used in short-range networks for transactional purposes. It lets you pay for everything digitally with a single tap; it’s safe and easy.

Battery

The AT&T Motivate Max smartphone comes with a non-removable 4,000mAh battery capacity. This is a standard size for an entry-level smartphone, but it works well for people with hustling activities.

This phone claims it can last up to 18 hours of talk time and 42 days while on standby. However, to keep the device maintained as it is, you need to take extra care with your AT&T Motivate Max.

Moreover, the AT&T Motivate Max uses USB Type-C for charging. This connector offers you a fast charging time. It takes 3 to 4 hours daily to have the battery in full condition.

Verdict

All the great features and specifications mentioned to you on this AT&T Motivate Max review can be obtained by only paying $77. This is obviously very cheap—even though there are many cheaper smartphones.

But considering the full experience you can enjoy with this phone, it’s a yes from us. The only thing we can point out as its drawbacks may be its boring look and its limited performance towards some heavy experience.

AT&T Motivate Max Pros:

  • Cheap price
  • Great triple camera
  • Gigantic display screen

AT&T Motivate Max Cons:

  • Average design
